pretty sure the dude had a stroke.

his count was off by a second on the countdown. I felt bad for the guy.

What has Dick Clark done? Well, nothing bad, and he's the optimistic voice of hope ushering in each new year.

I think thats worthy of some kind of empathy when his life goes tits up.

Look at it from his view. He has been doing this for like 50 years and I am sure it means a lot to him. You have got to admire him for trying. It was sad to see, but I give him credit for giving it a shot.
