Well let me ask this. Say you're with someone that enjoys sex, but isn't as crazy about it as you are. Would a sex toy bring excitement into the picture, and possibly make them enjoy it more? Or do you think it would scare them off and think all you care about is sex.

i assume you're in the market for a vibrator or something of the sort? I've been checking out vibrators myself. I recommend going to Adam and Eve on Glenwood, one of the women there was super-helpful and showed me all kinds, being professional the entire time. I think my guy was kinda embarrassed tho.

Of course sex toys have different materials, sizes, shapes, and textures. It's good to get your hands on a few and feel them for weight, handling ability, etc. I found the ones made out of cyberskin and latex to feel dry and odd, but the silicone and plastic ones are pretty neat. Some have different programs and such for different vibrations. I

The prices depend on material and quality of craftsmanship, expect to pay 25-40 for plastic, mix material and lower grade jelly rubber, whereas the better materials like glass, silicone, are 50 or above.
Some eggs can be as cheap as 15.

I highly recommend visiting Frisky Business on Hwy 70 in Durham. Take Glenwood Ave. towards Crabtree Mall but keep going towards Durham. Glenwood turns into Hwy. 70 (go past Angus Barn, past 540, etc.)

Frisky Business is a great adult toy store. They have a huge selection and very knowledgable staff. My girlfriend and I have purchased several items from there.

I guess another thing is, should you take your girl with you, or get something and surprise her.

I have no idea how she would respond if I asked her to go to a sex toy shop with me.

why not just be like,
"hey, i wanted to do something special for you, would you like to go to [insert name of sex shop] and look around?"

if you make it sound like it's about her, which it could be, and not how you want to see her in something like lingerie, she may be open to it.

or 'what do you think about [insert name of sex toy]?' if you have a good, open relationship, this question shouldn't be totally out in left field.

http://www.babeland.com

you won't get to touch anything before you buy it, but if she's shy, you might be better off shopping online.

I'm a female, so no. Hookers = . Babeland is a toy store in Seattle (pike street iirc), more variety than most other stores I've been to.

PS:Someone answer this -- Why do I (and other women) get funny looks from guys while shopping for toys? Are you thinking 1) What a slut, or 2) She likes sex and is by herself, or 3) Just trying to observe what random females like to buy/use.

just tell her you really want to please her and that you thought a sex toy might be something new to try. ask her if she is interested and if she'd like to go visit a sex shop together.

^Agree, although has your girl ever tried a toy by herself, like when she was single or something?

You could also try going to a toy demo (the best way to introduce her to toys imo), that way you can get tons of questions answered in a fun setting, touch and feel some toys, and get some tastings too

^ I doubt very seriously she's tried toys, she's actually partially against masturbation. From what she's told me, and I don't know why she would lie because we were having a very open conversation about it, she says she's only masturbated a few times in her life, and felt weird about doing it. She may have been lying about that part, not sure, but she seemed to be serious. I really think I can open her up sexually and she would have some fun if she could get over whatever mental block she seems to have. I think her parents grained in her sex is wrong.
