I got a 26 Toshiba HDTV ready television i'm looking to sell. It is brand new but does not come in a box. I realize that may be hard for some of you to swallow. I'm looking to get 400 for it. Is anyone interested? 1/11/2006 3:07:10 PM |

I have the remote and manuals. It has never been used before but i do not have a reciept from a large retailer. It is from a local tv shop in winston. I'm selling it because i have ten of them

HDTV doesn't really make much difference with TVs under the size of 40 inches unless you sit really really close
i wasn't really trying to bash your product. sorry about that 1/12/2006 1:03:42 PM |

It makes a world of difference. I used to have a 32 inch and we would flip back and forth from a regular broadcast to a hd broadcast and it was remarkable the difference. 1/12/2006 1:13:32 PM |

so what about the warranty? since there is no receipt, and no proof of purchase date, then I would think there is no warranty on the product you're selling.

again, thats bullshit. the hd i watched on a crt (32") was actually nicer than the decent samsung lcd set i am used to. crt hd is badass in my book, though i'm not so sure about this tv...1/12/2006 7:07:01 PM |

personal opinion...though i agree - hdtv is the most retarded thing to spend your money on unless you're going for a home theater setup1/12/2006 7:30:28 PM |

for <$400 it isn't a bad thing to spend your money on, you can get lots of HDTV programming now, and Xbox360's kick ass on HDTV widescreen... and movies look a lot better... but by far the best things are sporting events... comepletely different viewing experience 1/12/2006 10:02:21 PM |

I have a 26inch HDTV in my bedroom, and it rules for DVDs, corner to corner coverage in 16:9 is gorgeous compared to 4:3 letterboxing 1/12/2006 10:49:51 PM |

not trying to be an ass, but i jsut dont see how i could get warranty service on this unit without a receipt, if theres some standard warranty period for tvs please let me know how it works. i thought it was x years from purchase date 1/13/2006 12:47:30 AM |
MarkE08 All American 563 Posts user info edit post |
The back of a television has the date the tv was manufactured. based on that you should be able to get a warranty. try calling the tv doctor in durham and raleigh and asking how they would go about giving you a warranty. most small shops would be willing to sell you a warranty 1/13/2006 11:28:20 AM |
quagmire02 All American 44225 Posts user info edit post |
but no one wants to buy a warranty that should come standard on a tv to begin with 1/13/2006 12:11:06 PM |
