how warm do the heaters make the cage? do they cover the whole bottom?

i'm considering a couple under-cage heaters for my tarantulas... but they live in 5.5 gallon tanks.

well they are 10 gallon heaters so about a quarter. heater only work all or none, unless you have a thermostat to regulate tempature. i have one for sale @ $20, which lets you dail in the tempature you want.
