My boyfriend accidentally bought an extra white 40GB iPod Photo. It's new, still in the shrink wrap. I'd like to get $250 for it.

That happens to me all the time. Like one time I bought a 50" Plasma and then realized I had already got one the day before. And another time I bought an XBOX then was like "OMG I just got one the day before." I dont know how many times I've done it with iPods. Glad I'm not the only one this happens to.

It does play video... only certain formats though.

if you want to play avi you have to convert it to one of the supported formats
