naw, battery is fine...i just got one that i don't have to load software onto my ipod for...one that i can just plug and play into stations...nothing is wrong with iTrip, or iPod

umm...it is suposed to last 15 hours, i never let it go that long though, i usually only have it playing for a few hours at a time before i charge it but it's never in desperate need of charging

No. The battery on the iPod is rated for charge cycles. Charging it before it's empty does not shorten it's battery life.
