http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1633

Whatever you may have heard about them, I hear more good than bad Plus, they're based out of Durham so customer service and shipping should be quick. They don't allow local pickup/service, though. Not sure why they don't make an all-inclusive kit for Honda's like they do for the 240sx, but it's a start

+BOV
+IC and piping
+fuel management
+injectors
+oil lines and fittings
+misc gaskets (manifold, oil pan, etc)
+fuel pump
etc

$1500 for no fuel management or intercooler? I'd pass it up for the SS Autochrome
and $1900 for the same thing plus an intercooler, bleh.

SSA:
Kit (turbo, manifold, downpipe): $600
IC kit: $500 (no full kit listed, but the other comprehensive kits are this averaging price; I'm sure they can add couplings and hardware at your request)
Complete oil line kit: $80
BOV: $100
Wastegate: $150
-----------
$1430

Not included in Vecco kit you have to account for:
FMU: $250 S-AFC, buy it used for around $150 (though not sure it's enough management to make 300+ hp on a honda engine...)
550cc Injectors: $300
Fuel Pump: $100
Cat-back: $400 (optional? )
FPR: $150
...I'd go to Ebay for all this mess

+new fluids, dyno time, gauges ($$$), headaches

and so on..

I wouldn't mess with SS Autochrome. I know someone who ordered one of their ICs (For an SRT-4) and said it was so poorly made and shitty looking that they sent it back.

I guess you could get lucky though...

Turbocharging his car will not change the looks at all. It will also make it quieter, and significantly faster.
