I can understand the inappropriate touching - I'm sure the police officer said, "STOP BITCH! You can't go past here without going through the screener (Honk, Honk) (Vagina Rub) (Gentle Carress of the nipple), it's all in the name of security, oh and it's because you're black"

Hey, I've got a great idea, lets sue Police Officers for doing their job at her own place of employment where their job is to make sure they don't let people with bombs in that would get HER KILLED.

She had a different hair style and was not wearing her pin. The officer didn't recognize her and asked her to stop.

I dont think people should be able to bypass security by wearing a pin. Unless it has some sort of special transponder, pins can easily be duplicated. I bet I could get a fake on EBay.

It's not knee-jerk. It's "If there's a way to get you out of this, then this is it." Knee-jerk would mean an actual belief that something racist happened. I'm saying that they reasoned that this is the most likely way to avoid punishment even though they don't believe there to be any racist sentiment involved.
