Light skating does not equal playing shape. It's great that he is back on the ice, and it definitely looks like he is recovering very quickly, but I would expect he is still quite a ways off from being ready to play. Maybe he could get into the lineup if they make it to the finals.

I would say he's got at least two weeks before he can go, and that's if absolutely everything goes perfectly.

I doubt we will see cole at all on the ice during the playoffs. I would like to see him but i just dont think he will get enough ice time to get on pace with playoff hockey.

pro athletes generally heal much more quickly than non-athletes, and there's no doubt his progress has been much quicker than had been previously released.

but i'd still be very surprised to see him at all before next season, and in the slight chance we do it would be at the end of the SCF's, game 6 or 7, after having survived a 6 or 7 game series against buffalo.
