Am I the only one who doesn't see a time-frame for this 99$ membership? $99 for 1 or 2 months isn't great. If it's for 3, that's okay. 6 and up, that is a good deal.

it probably is 99 for this year and then when you renew your yearly they have a clause for a $25 annual fee for facilities upgrades. also, I doubt that the # available is "limited"-- after having to repay pre-sold memberships to locations that never opened a few months ago (they've been featured on 5 on your side). membership renewals have been ridiculously cheap in the past. the gyms are not fancy (and some are rather worn), but they do have the cheapest rates I've ever seen and they seem to be working on improvements.

You don't have to agree to it. It's right up front on the contract in a pretty easy to be seen box and they have to write in by hand the fee, unless they have changed the contract recently.

What they used to do was, if you signed for a 3 year, pay up front contract, which gets you the best rates, was to say you were paying for 1 year and getting 2 years free. What this does is if you have to move in 1 year due to work/military or whatever, you get no prorated money back because of the wording. Slimy motherfuckers. On the most recent 3 year I signed, they didn't word it this way, so if I decide to move I'll get the correct amount back. Pay attention to this.

DURALEIGH IS THE ONLY ONE WITH FULL COURTS THAT ARE OPEN ALL THE TIME....CREEDMORE HAS ONE JUST LIKE THE ONE IN WAVERLY BUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE CLASSES THERE ALMOST ALL THE TIME NO ONE EVER REALLY PLAYS THERE...PLUS THERE IS A PUNCHING BAG HANGING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BASE 3 PT LINE WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO GET AROUND

Duraleigh basektball courts are half-filled with machines, so beware.

Although Beyond Fitness is the shadiest gym in the area, even I must admit that it's a good deal.
