Due in September

Quote :
" After a four-year hiatus, The Clipse are slated to drop their highly anticipated sophomore disc, Hell Hath No Fury, in September.

Like its predecessor, Lord Willin', Fury is entirely produced by the Neptunes. The album features guest appearances by Pharrell Williams, Sandman, Ab Liva and Bilal. While Willing was released via the Tunes' Star Trak/Arista, Malice and Pusha T's new offering will drop through their own Re-Up/Jive imprint. The album was initially slated to hit stores back in 2004, but was postponed due to conflict between the group and the label.

The pair shot a video for the Williams-assisted "Mr. Me To," the first single off the album, in Los Angeles two weeks ago. The clip should hit media outlets in the coming weeks.

Released in the summer of 2002, Lord Willin' featured guest spots by Fabolous, Jadakiss, Jermaine Dupri, Faith Evans, Nore, Lil Wayne, Sean Paul and Kardinal Offishall. The album was certified platinum shortly after its release.

Hope it's as good as their first cd, it's taken them forever to release a follow-up.

ahaha

this shit got pushed back. again.

Halloween is the official release date now

Quote :
"
"It's just fitting. Halloween — let the demons loose," Malice said at Battery Studio. "It's a fresh album. There's no way we could use the same album; we're in a totally different place. You can hear what we've been through. It's good to let people in on it. It's been sitting up, and it's good to let the cat out of the bag. The feedback has been good. It's a classic. ... It's going to be reminiscent of classic East Coast hip-hop.""

I hope that the extra time will make it better. What's waiting another month or so, when we have been waiting three years +? We Got it For Cheap can satisfy me until December. Hell Hath No Fury better be good.

"Lots of artists hate their record label, but the Clipse really, really, really hate their label. In a recent interview at the Manhattan offices of their, um, label, Jive Records, rappers Malice and Pusha-T did some extreme venting. As our interview with them began, Pusha snatched the recorder, looked around conspiratorially and let it out: “I hate Jive. I hate them motherfuckers. With all my heart and all the passion and my soul I hate these bitches. It’s about the lynching of every staff member up in this motherfucker.”"

Did he do anything on Timberlake's new album?

That might make a song or two of it worth listening to, since all the good tracks on his first CD were produced by Pharrell.

The 50 Cent remix of Cry Me A River is about a million times better than the original -- but a good part of this might be just because I really don't like Timbaland.
