well i did it again... me and my roommate went and rescued more puppies from being put to sleep this morning. they were pulled from Franklin County Animal Control this morning.

I took them (the 4 young puppies) to the Vet today and they all received their 1st set of puppy shots, a fecal exam, deworming, and physical. vet said all appeared in good health.

available for adoption:

"Disney" black female lab. approx 8-10 wks old. solid black with few white hairs on chest. bright pink tongue. nice and healthy. she was well taken care of by whoever had her before. she rides great in the car. dominant personality. smart cookie. very sweet. unrelated to others.


"Dusty" beagle mix. approx 8-10 wks old. smallest of the bunch. sweet sweet personality. loves to play and be held and have your attention. alot of fun! unrelated to others.


"Hunter" and "Dakota" two shepherd mix brothers. approx 8-10 wks old. short haired. one is fawn with dark points. other is darker mix of browns. both were pretty skinny when picked up. have eaten alot today and i'll fatten em up. they had ear mites but have been treated and will continue to be treated. really soft coats. they are shy but as soon as you talk nicely to them their tails start wagging and will crawl towards you. no sign of aggression at all. just need someone with patience to work with them. so sweet.
Hunter is the darker one in the front. he's the bolder of the two.

TENTATIVELY AVAILABLE "Joe" a red & white border collie. 7 months old. purebred. came with rabies tag and proof or vaccinations. spoke to former vet and will get records. intact. submissive behavior. very sweet once he learns to trust you. he loves to play with the 4 puppies. thinks they are the greatest things ever. he was covered with about 300 ticks. (i have a jar full of them). we pulled every one off him and gave him a good bath and he looks incredible. i can't imagine why someone would let such a good looking and wonderful dog be neglected and then dropped off at a kill shelter.
He has someone interested in him... but if you are let me know in case it doesnt work out.
we have also contacted the border collie rescues in the area.



I am only asking a small adoption fee of $25 to cover part (very little) of their vet bills and expenses.
I will also conduct a home visit to ensure a good home.
if you'd like to come meet any of them let me know. they're such sweet pups and really seem to know that they were saved. that shelter is so depressing to spend any time in (on either side of the bars)

especially having to quarantine the new ones from my pack.

someone is coming to see the beagle puppy today and i had some interest in the others too. so hopefully they'll all find great homes.

i can't look at their pictures and know they'll be put to sleep..

i'm getting attached to Disney ( i have 4 of my own already so i cant keep her....)
and Hunter is coming out his shell and becoming more outgoing.

i have alot of pets^
^^ no Hunter is not housetrained. they've been staying in the kitchen or outside on a shaded deck.
they can play in the rest of the house tomorow and be introduced to the other dogs tomorow.
(i quarantine for 5 days)
then we'll work on the house training.

however, they've been good. only one accident in the house so far. they go outside whenever i take them out.
