"So did anybody else find themselves pulling for the Pack last night? Or was I the only one?

What an atmosphere, btw. It's painful to admit, but I was jealously impressed with our little brothers last night."

"I am with you brotha! I had a sales rep carry me to the game last night....with the tailgating, stadium, fans, atmosphere.....I'm sorry, I am as die hard a Carolina fan as they come, but anyone that says you cannot enjoy yourself more at a football game at Raleigh College is kidding themselves. I found myself getting into the game with the Pack fans. First off the tailgating situation is awesome, we went back to the car at halftime and had a few more beers. At one point during the 3rd quarter, Florida State had a 3rd down and that place was sooo loud. I've never heard Kenan half that loud. Give Amato credit where credit is due, he has the fans believing that they have a chance to win every game, and I don't recall him getting blown out 52-7 during his tenure either! We need some major changes in Chapel Hill!"

Quote :
"Wait a second. I love Carolina with all my heart and soul. I would kick puppies for Carolina. But admitting that I pulled for state last nite doesn't make me less of a Carolina fan. I think it makes you a football fan. I would love to see us fans rockin Kenan Stadium like that. We just don't have it in us apparently. Nothing wrong with being impressed or with being happy for a team that can turn a season around. About time some of us on here showed and little more respect."

Quote :
"Games like last night are where State fans are born.

Think about it, you are a young kid who has a die hard Tar Heel fan for a father. He takes you to every game on Saturday and you get to hear him cussing the whole way home.

Then you turn on the TV last night and watch the State/FSU game. Players are excited, the crowd is going bananas, there are guys flying around making huge hits, and you love the sea of red.

When I think to myself, "Why on earth would you be a State fan?" I will think about times like these."

etc...

"@#%$ right I'm rooting for the pack. I hope they don't lose another game this year. I hope they stomp us. Maybe, just maybe, if they stomp us, then some people will pull their heads from the sand, and decide to get serious about having a football program again.(I doubt it) This John Bunting experiment (disaster, debacle, embarrassment) is going nowhere. Ever! This joke of a hire is doing nothing but causing LONG-TERM damage. God forbid they hand us another W."

That's awesome. I was at a Keg party last night in Charleston and I was the only guy sitting in the den watching the game with my State t-shirt and hat on watching the football game.

By the end of the game I had about 30-head in the den giving hi-5's, screaming and hollering for the Wolpack. It's contagious.

I gotta think with our boys doing well in the NFL, and the hilarity that is UNCs program this year, we should have a nice recruiting hall from North Carolina this year, getting some of those good recruits that somehow UNC has still managed to get over the past couple of years on name alone.

good to hear. on the same token, I doubt ALL ncsu fans were pulling for illinois in the NCAA championship game. sometimes you gotta feel good for your friends, relatives, and region.

was at a dive bar in pennsylvania watching the game last night.

by the end of the first half the entire crowd of ~12 were all pulling for the pack.

it was exciting to watch a bunch of big-10 football snobs realize they didnt have to turn thier noses up to acc football.

One Wisc. alum was very interested in the wolf hand signal, and was doing it by the end of the night, lol.

"i wish we had something like that for the badgers..."

Today's a great day. We beat a ranked team last night, so there's no stress on fans for the weekend.

On top of that, there's big (favorable) news regarding our two biggest targets in basketball.

I'm pretty happy right now.

well it's like this; when our gas was going up, americans started bitching, but those that live in other countries especially in europe and japan would love to have the kinds of prices we currently have. doesn't the average UK driver pay like roughly 6-8 US dollars per gallon of gas?

Carolina is gayer than when Rock Hudson used to sneak into the back rooms of my house with my butler and fuck him in the balloon knot. And that was before it was fashionable!
