yea i finished downloading the demo earlier and went to play it and got the missing .dll file error so i had to reinstall directx. havent yet played, i got as far as watching the "training" video.

Try this for fun - use the Titan's drop pods (located on the hangar deck to the left and right of the gun turret consoles) to land on enemies. I could almost spend a whole round doing nothing but. Dropping jeeps on enemies is so archaic; now you can drop yourself.

lag seems pretty bad at times.... i think it has to do with the quality of the player connections as a group/whole as well as the servers and/or net code of the game...

i love the walkers..they are so badass imo. but i noticed most people in the servers dont go for the secondary position..if they cant "drive" they dont want to bother with the walker.

there isnt a simple "on/off" switch. it is built into the game coding according to game forums. the only way to possbily get around it is block the ports the spyware uses but doin that may in effect block the ports one needs to play an online game.

game play is pretty decent, definitely seems to have stepped up now...

I used EA Downloader and it had some issues to get installed but after that it was an ok fun game.

ONLY issue I do have is that it will not run 1280 x 1024
Anyone having any luck - it's not an option!

Is anybody having lag issues? It's gotten to the point where I enter the map(any map) and basically just teleport around.

It was fine earlier in the day but as of right now it's unplayable.

I've got it in both Titan and conquest. It seems to be something with my router but I have no problem connecting and I can play Battlefield 2 fine.

I prefer the support class but I definitely don't think it's over powered. That gun is loose and you really need that sprint powerup if you want any sort of flexibility.

Oh man, I finally got this yesterday and I am so in love with it. Even without my beloved jets, I already think this is superior in almost every way to BF2. I have already lone wolf unlocked everything on the right side of the Assault tree and am gonna start working on Engineer's right side (sans the SAM) next. Titan mode is so much fun - it just beats the crap out of taking control flags over and over. I haven't even started messing with squads yet, but everyone says that that's a MUCH faster way to earn points.

Hey, does anyone know what class the Best Buy-exclusive unlockable rifle is for? I didn't preorder from there and don't have a code, but I have yet to see anyone using it. Also, is it true that you can only use a rank-up code one time? I've been astonished to see people selling the codes on eBay for over $20.
