NC State Hockey is hosting the 2007 Canes Cup at the Rec Zone this weekend. On Friday at 9pm they are playing VT, Saturday 5pm ECU, and sunday 12pm Duke. State is 5 time defending champions. Again beer is really cheap and there is lots of fights.

Come support the team and watch as they kick some ECU and DOOK ass.

since when? i haven't been all season (was on exchange last semester) but i know it used to be that fighting got an automatic suspension... which meant few fights, but good ones when they did occur. that said, they're still fun and i'll be at one or two this weekend.

been to every home game and seen more fights than i do at NHL games. You get suspended for dropping your gloves and stick put small fighting still goes on...and more shit talking than you can imagine. Def. worth going, beer hockey and some fights

If you don't drop your gloves and tip off your helmet, it's not a fight, and in college you get an automatic suspension for fighting. Yeah, there's some pushing and some gloved punches, but with cages on it's not really a big deal. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun time and the beer is cheap, but it's not London/Saginaw fight night by any means.

Im a huge Hockey fan, mainly because Im a transfer student from University Alaska where hockey is our only D 1 NCAA sport...yeah we got raped last night by Michigan, What would it take for you guys to become NCAA..This is to any Hockey knowledged NC Staters.
