Any salon will cut it for you. You just have to mail it to Locks of Love or wherever it's going. Make sure you have 10" of ponytail, not just hair, or they can't use it.

I did it this spring. I miss my hair now, though.

yeah, i don't have 10 inches of just a single pony tail. maybe like 8. i have 10 if i make it into two, like one on each side of my head or something.

i've been told that it's acceptable to make more than one bundle if needed to get the length, that the main thing is they just want it banded together.

it's going to be a shame if they won't take it and it's so close, i would just keep growing it to make sure but i have to cut it for a wedding i'm in.

So... they do sell some of the (unusable) hair they receive. That's not too bad.

i had it done at super cuts today. it was longer than i thought, they were able to get 11 inches with it pulled back. they handled everything as far as sending it off, and the cut after was free. i left the girl a decent tip though, she was hacking for a while.

I am getting my mop cut off for St. Baldrick's this weekend. I'm matching 50% of every donation if you'd like to contribute.

I cut my long ass hair off for charity (see photo gallary, it was down to my ass) but the place I went to would not mail it out for me. When I took it back to the apartment, my dog got into it and made a mess, so I just ended up throwing it away.
