Against UNC. Here are our keys.

We can victor this game. We dominated V-tech, carolina got blown out, hence we victor. Fact.
All we need to do is;

1)execute, don't get caught up in those offensive traps

2)continue to utilize that 8-9 man rotation

3)double down on hansborough

4)take advantage of that mid-range jumper that unc poorly defends

I spent all week studying this unc offense and the miami game helped me out a great deal. Here is pretty much what we'll be facing all day.




This is the Tyler pick and roll. They execute this with astounding speed and athleticism. I'm really suprised that teams haven't discovered this or how to stop it. It's really simple in it's entirety. We should give the zone d early in the game to prevent Tyler from waring up. A little double team against him wouldn't hurt either.

With Gavin and fells penetrating, noone can stop that. Fells/Gavin are easy comparison to T mac and really make it hard for teams to defend them. We just really need to stick by our boys and support them.

Tyler was shut down against arizona in the first half, due to effective double team play. In the second half is where he scored the majority of his points. He finished with 26, so... I think dteaming would be a good idea.

And I'm all for giving the starters a few minutes of breather, but they need to be out on the floor AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

And in case you didn't notice, all the starters played at least 35 minutes except fells. That's 7/8 of the game. That's about the right amount IMO
