when did that happen? i noticed a wolf in the address bar replacing the e logo when i first load the page...cool stuff....yall are doing a great job with this site.....

For some reason IE only shows the icons when you first bookmark the page.

i'm surprised more sites don't do it. all you need is this code:

LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="iconname"

in your header. -- inside html tags, that is

actually all you need is a file called favicon.ico in the root dir of the site

putting a file in a directory on the site has nothing to do with HTML. and yes, the <LINK> tag is supported in HTML 4.0 ... what the browser does with it is a different story.
