didn't they play here a few years ago on 4/20? just seems like they are always around this area on that date. any particular reason why they pick here?

they have a lot of fans around here. i think they sell more tix for the alltel shows than any other ones, except the nye/ga shows.
i cant wait. their new guitarist, jimmy herring (allman brothers, dead, many others) is light years ahead of george. panic is really sounding good recently. they are not my favorite band, but its one hell of a good time, and the music is better than 99.9% of what you might hear.

Oh, and they're not phish or the dead... panic does not noodle around for 20 minutes, they are very song oriented

^^^^panic rarely noodles around if at all.

and yes, herring fits in perfectly w/ these guys. saw them at radio city last september and the show was on fire... largely due to herring.
