I got 4 boxes of bisquick and 1 bottle of aunt jemima syrup free a couple of triples ago...

nothing like bringing the coolest item to a party and having it not cost you a penny!!!!!

Good deal today I stumbled across:

I tink it was in PG but there's a Bic Soleil coupon for $3 off the single pack....not the 4 pack. Food Lion by my house had them on MVP for 2.99 making them free. I am going to go back and get a few more and use them for stocking stuffers for my nieces.

Is it only the Sunday paper that has coupons in it, or is there ever any other day of the week that does as well?

i've heard rumors that red plum puts out coupons on wednesdays w/ the grocery store ads that comes in the mail....but every red plum I get in the mail on Wednesdays doesn't have coupons.

i will randomly get red plum inserts in my mail on wednesdays... it's the same one they send out on sunday, except if there's a freebie coupon in sunday's insert (like free sara lee bread) they won't have it in the wednesday insert... at least that's what i've noticed.

That stinks. The only thing in my Wed. RedPlum is ads for storm windows and pizza coupons.

i got a redplum coupon insert in my sale paper thing yesterday.

i haven't gotten a harris teeter sale paper yet, does anyone know if/when they're doing the triples. i read the 6-9th previously, but it would benefit me if it started today haha..

here's to hoping.

oh ps -> i found a couple coupons for those blue diamond almonds... i'm not sure if it's too late or whatever, but i'm not a big fan of almonds, so whoever it was that wanted them if you pm me your address i'll send them to you.

I was @ the Edwards Mill HT @ 7am this morning!

Got:
3 Trident gum packages
3 Whiskas Temptations cat treats
2 packages Fleischmann's yeast
1 package Pedigree Good Bites
3 boxes Nestle Nesquick hot cocoa
2 packages Bumble bee tuna
1 can muir glen tomato sauce
1 package Kotex panty liners
1 carton Land-o-Lakes half and half
2 Del Monte Naturals fruit cups
1 can Mighty Dog food

BC: $31.08
OOP: $3.63

Would have been less (like $0.80) b/c I had a free coupon for the Pedigree Good Bites but the cashier read the wrong line on the screen and she took it off for one of the Temptations cat treats. Took off $1.67 instead of $3.99.

umm

it depends on the cashier.

some will manually enter the coupon so it won't double/triple and others will just scan it and let it go

that's what happened w/ my trident gum coupon. they say 'do not double' and the HT cashier starred at it for a few seconds and then just scanned it.

I get so frustrated trying to plan trips to HT.
I'll look at the ad, make my list, pick out my coupons, and head to the store. Then, when I'm in there, there's a shitton of stuff on sale, that's not in the ad.

It makes me so mad

If the coupon says "Do Not Double", it will double at HT as long as the bar code doesn't begin with a 9. I've never had a cashier manually override it to keep it from doubling.

^^Yeah, you can find alot of good deals that aren't advertised in the weekly circular. You can check prices without even going to the store by using the Express Lane feature on the HT website. Type in any item and it will give you the sale price. It saves alot of time at the store.

my harris teeter doesn't do overages.. *le sigh*

but i did alright, i saved 70 dollar bucks, but i spent 120.. that's 'cause i bought a bunch of shit for my party this weekend, and there are no manufacturer coupons for produce. RAWR!

oh, and beer, wine and mixers are pretty expensive too... if i hadn't bought things for the party i probably would have only spent about 60 - 70

Coupons tendered: $33.xx

After coupons: $25.xx; $10 of that is diet coke, $3 is a pomegranate, and $2.74 was a sale item for someone else.

Uncle Ben's Wild + Long Rice was 2/$3, and I had BOGO coupons

last night when i was at the teet some lady walked by me with her huge binder of coupons... it made me feel inadequate.. kind of how i would assume a guy would feel if he saw another guy's dick was bigger than his.

hahaha i thought it was hilarious.

oh, and i was PISSED when all the good stuff was completely sold out. it's not fair that on the FIRST FUCKING DAY of triples that shit is sold out by the time i get there after work. i'm sorry that i have A JOB that keeps me from getting to the teet until after 6. whatever, at least now i know there aren't so many hard core couponers at bloom.

I went this morning on my way in to get some free ice cream and pop corn for my classes today because I was showing a movie so I wanted to treat them with some free coupon foods...and I noticed a lot was gone that I was looking for...

I went back after school for my stuff and found everything. They are restocking the Leesville Road exit HT so check there this afternoon. It's not that hard to go back after or before work another day or to ask when they are restocking.

As far as my morning spending:

I should have spent 30.08. I spent out of pocket 4.81. Saved 84%!!!

I got:
2 cans of carnation evaporated milk
2 packages of temptations cat treats
1 container of HT ice cream
2 boxes Jolly Time popcorn
2 packages of Fleishmann's yeast
1 container of Deli Selects chicken lunch meat

I gave the ice cream to my students as well as the popcorn. The carnation milk is for pumpkin pies at thanksgiving as well as the yeast for yeast rolls. The treats are for the cat and the lunch meat, is, well, for lunch.

I don't know how you do your shopping but I buy what I need and can use in the near future...not JUST the ingredients I need to make dinner. I would be there everyday if that were the case.

I have a whole ton of coupons I don't want/need and would be willing to give them away if someone can meet me. I can't mail them because there are simply too many.

With that being said, I will not give them to someone who is attempting to sell them. I would rather them go to a fellow couponer, trying to save a buck or two.

To give you an idea on the amount, I have been stuffing them into a page protector and it's buldging. I also have a some virtually full inserts that I will be adding to that.
