video card, obviously. brand new, only tested for DOA and comes with all retail accessories EXCEPT the pleather ASUS cd-wallet and the Valve 'black box' coupon mentioned on the packaging.

link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121073

i'll provide pictures upon request, but it's the retail box & literally brand new, and therefore looks just like every other one on the planet.

i paid $410, and newegg would have charged me a 15% restocking fee, meaning i could have gotten $348.50 if i had just returned it and not taken the dod source cd key out of the package (that's what the 'black box' 'coupon' was). i won't part with it for less than $300. i can deliver it in person to campus, or it can be picked up from me since i live a few blocks directly behind gopaks bazaar/i love ny pizza.

well, when i was buying a shitload of components for this system i overlooked the fact that corporations can't play nice with each other without a formal specification of some kind, i.e., you need a crossfire enabled motherboard to run dual ati cards, and nvidia sli capable boards are not crossfire capable, so i wouldn't be able to upgrade to a duallie setup when their price comes down a little... so i got an nvidia card now to avoid waste. and so now the damage control..

today it'd be waste. when some new, post-pci-E graphics standard comes out and my pc is left in the dust, at least i'll have a low cost option to catch back up.

That'd be great - except when I attempt to get into the student section and don't have a stamp or a ticket.
