i supported the fees for the health operation and legal services. student legal has saved my rear a few times.
otherwise i rejected all other fees
Recreational Athletics Fee- eventhough i like to play intramurals i think they should make the participants pay the fee i do not think all students should subsidize intramurals for those who choose to play.
Fuck the athletic fee
The student center operation fee can also blow me. I do not remember the last time I have stepped a foot into talley unless it was for icecream, a cut through, visiting student legal, or some co-op thing. The UAB and other people that do shit there are a bunch of douchenozzles 10/1/2007 9:42:44 AM |

I said yes to the legal fee and to the health center (not the expansion one) and 1/2 to the technology one hoping for more wireless on campus.
Otherwise No to everything else. The way I see it, the only fees we need are stuff everybody can use. Not everybody is into intramurals or want student centers (especially after the debate over the Gay one). 10/1/2007 2:18:46 PM |

I hope like hell yall said yes to the transportation fee increase.
I've seen a couple changes I suggested implemented, and it's been awesome, and with more resources, there'd be more chances for other students' suggestions to be strongly considered. 10/1/2007 2:22:42 PM |

I support the health center fees, and student legal too.
I get a lot of use out of the health center, I'd love to see it be able to expand some of its services.

fuck that; put on your walking shoes to go from Carmichael to jordan. It saves so much time to get a DC/DD parking permit versus taking the Asian Express and the other bus routes to and from campus. Once on campus everywhere is walking distance unless its pouring rain or you are lazy.
The one exception is going from main to centennial campus which I'll burn the 30 mins necessary to use the bus. The busses are slow, smelly, or stop like every 500 ft10/1/2007 2:57:27 PM |

I'm on Centennial campus, the changes I suggested directly impact Centennial, and lack of resources was the single most limiting factor in expanding service for Centennial ;-)
IMO, service on the heart of campus is just fine. 10/1/2007 3:00:14 PM |

1,083 total voters -- you can view the results here:
https://vote.ncsu.edu/public.php?mode=results&elid=28
and turnout statistics here:
https://vote.ncsu.edu/public.php?mode=turnout&elid=28
THANK YOU to everyone who voted -- a lot of the results are all over the map, but the turnout was a lot higher than anyone expected (Technician's guess was 250, an administrator told me "at best" we "might" get 400)
All of you are more than welcome to join us at tomorrow night's Senate meeting too, we'll have an open forum if anyone wants to speak on the fee resolution 10/3/2007 1:11:56 AM |
