There's rigs like that all over south Fl. Shit cracks me up every time.

Sometimes they roll around in packs, and after the first passes, then the next, I'm already laughing so hard I've jumped the curb and miss the next 3 or 4 while dodging palm trees and pedestrians and shit.

Black folk don't like water fool. When they build one of those things that's ambidextrous, I'll suck slowblack's dick.

I remember seeing something like this in the late 80's, but more redneck. I want to say it was a datsun z or something lifted, with off roading tires. I remember being so confused by it.

I'll take that Impala in a second.

Then I'd sell the giant rims and the lift kit (or whatever you call it for one of these rides) and use the money to return it to a stock ride height (or slight drop) and some nice tasteful 19's. Problem solved.

if it was mine i'd probably drop it some, but the rims would stay.

i will own something like that eventually. i shoulda done it to my newport instead of lowering it. i do have a grand marquis i picked up the other week... hmmm.

He seemed to be driving it very gently. Looked almost like it was on a 4X4 chasis.

Seeing things like that makes me wonder what type of vehicle people will come up with next to make them look like they have absolutely no mental wattage.

That thing is hideous, and probably borderline unsafe to drive at highway speeds.

I wonder how long until that car breaks to bits because he forgot to replace "X".

Really though, with ghetto rides like this, do the people that mod them actually have the money to afford all of the seriously expensive shit required to jack the car up like that and care for it? Do they just buy like a $200 car that runs, spraypaint it with a new color and some clearcoat, then rig something together with a junkyard pull? Or do they actually buy a fairly nice car, have the money for the wheels and custom suspension work, and then have the money for the sound system to boot? I see so many of these cars and I know something's gotta give sooner or later (financially or mechanically).

I just don't get the appeal...

I honestly would be super happy with a new, clean ford taurus right now, haha.

^^it's much like anything else... there are some that people put a lot of money/effort into and they're built right. others are just pieced together and are junk.

This is kind of what I'm talking about. I think that falls in the category of "I got it, now I can't pay for it" but who knows. I just don't get the point of killing yourself financially so you can have a gaudy looking car for a few months.

Nothing tops the Chester Cheetah Cheeto's Impala that rolls around the Plymouth/Jamesville area. I will try to snap a picture. Jeepin4x4 can attest to this ride.
