But the question is: How much will he help my fantasy team?
Good luck and this is probably KRob's last chance at it so he better not fuck up. 10/17/2007 4:10:37 PM |

That's a pretty loose definition of second chance.
Even still, I wish him the best of luck.
People forget that Koren Robinson and Norm Chow were what turned Philip Rivers into a household name. Philip was nationally known for producing so well his freshman season. Then without those two he struggled quite a bit his sophomore year. He improved but still struggled with consistency (see our late season collapse) his junior year and it wasn't until his senior year that he fulfilled his potential and lived up to all the hype he had coming off of his freshman year.10/17/2007 8:21:56 PM |

^this is true, but Rivers did improve his passer efficiency rating each year he played at NC State. The disappointment came when he couldn't pull out 4th quarter comebacks the way he did his freshman year. Norm Chow's play-calling and Koren Robinson's big play ability had a huge part in those comebacks.

Hopefully this means Woodson won't be returning any more punts.
He's way too valuable to the Packers to keep that up. 10/17/2007 9:25:42 PM |

^Don't think it's the drinking that's SUCH an issue. Maybe it is, but I know the is what he's been suspended for in the past SEVERAL times. He's such a DUMBASS. 10/18/2007 11:04:48 AM |

look groupie, he has had a very hard time in the pros dealing with alcoholism symptoms. showing up to jail drunk, etc. the league hasnt mentioned anything with him regarding pot10/18/2007 11:51:17 AM |

Umm...not a groupie. But anyway, I went to school with his cousin and he told me he used to sell and smoke HEAVILY. Ok, but I got you. Yeah, he needs to lay off the alcohol then. 10/18/2007 12:12:10 PM |
AndyMac All American 31922 Posts user info edit post |
Yeah, but that doesn't affect your football ability, and most of the time you can easily pass NFL drug tests when you are smoking apparently, at least according to the NFL live guys.
I mean look at Randy Moss.
K-Rob's problems have ALL been alcohol related, especially the DUI.
[Edited on October 18, 2007 at 12:28 PM. Reason : Actually, alcohol doesn't affect it much either, Favre won 2 MVP's as a ragin alcoholic] 10/18/2007 12:27:55 PM |

Is he a good pickup for fantasy if he does become the #2-3 reciever for them? New fantasy player here, and never followed him closely enough to know.... 10/18/2007 1:58:34 PM |

What?

If he does become the third receiver, he'd probably get 30 - 40 yards per game. His real value to the Packers (considering how James Jones was stepping up until the Bears game) will probably be at punt returner and maybe kickoff returner.10/18/2007 4:36:40 PM |
