they give people F's in grad-level classes? i mean usually a prof will just give a C (or maybe a D in an extreme circumstance). but since basically everyone has to maintain a 3.0 or higher, a C is practically failing.

Actually most the 100 level classes are easy to fail. Just don't show up for three days total or something like that and you will fail.

Oh, they can still give 'em. Grad students fail classes too, in all senses of the word.

seriously. i bet the total proportion of people who fail these 100-level classes (either because they didnt take them seriously, or they were destined to drop out anyway) is higher than any other level
