I'm not trying to run an advertisement for them, however, I don't mind helping them out.

I'm having a "VIP Party" there this Saturday from 5-6 PM. They will be closing off the street and will have 5 live bands playing. I think their tickets are $3 in advance or $5 at the door.

If you get there and tell them that you are there for Jake's Party, they will give you a wrist band. I am buying several kegs and will be giving out free miller lite from 5-6 PM in the back bar.

Any way you look at it, $5 for live music, a kick ass block party (not $10 like Nelson's), and free beer for an hour? After two, you've made your money back...after 10, you're well ahead (and drunk).
