I've been looking to get out and get some exercise and step my court game up and would like to be able to do that outside now that the weather is warm. Are there any apartment complexes or parks that have courts in the Weston Pkwy area?

there are outdoor courts at a park between cary pkwy and weston pkwy.. it is norwell rd. on weston, directly across from MCI (if they're still in that building, 7000 weston pkwy).. its on the cary pkwy side of norwell.

[Edited on May 1, 2008 at 1:45 PM. Reason : it is norwell blvd @ cary pkwy]

last time i played there (it has been years), they had those double rims..

I played on Norwell sometimes when I lived up at Archstone... also at Godbold from time to time.

Norwell was mixed... there were games almost every afternoon but sometimes it was just high school kids and other times there was some really good competition that was a bit older that would come by after work.

Norwell has no lights, Godbold does... so that's a plus.

I've played out there, definitely not built for full court serious games, but an ok place to shoot around at if you are close

Looking for competition or just a place to put a ball in a hole?

I mean, theres plenty of apartment complexes off of weston ... Im sure one of them has a bball court.

I would love a place with some competition. Not too big of a deal if it doesn't though, I was mainly looking for a place to shoot around since I play in Wake County leagues all year round. But if there is a place with some competition I would be there in a heart-beat

Theres Godbold thats off Maynard next to the skate park, lights are on until 11:00

North Cary Goals are very unforgiving, no lights.

Rosemary Park is behind the K-mart near the Maynard Kildaire intersection, cant remember if there are lights there or not.
