Man, my favorite dessert makes that list: Chili's Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie. I almost never get to eat it, but it makes me sad to see it on that list.

I'd like to thank the folks at Men's Health for this convenient cheat sheet.

Next time I have a bad day, I won't even have to think about it. Just head straight to Outback and drop by Chili's for dessert.

Man, I haven't had one of those in ages.

And anyone who thinks a taco "salad" is healthy is a fucking moron.

That's pretty nasty that you can get all your calories plus some in one sitting.

I think the grossest part of in that entire article is that an Awesome Blossom is the equivalent of eating 64 pieces of bacon.

The only thing on this list I really eat at all is the Chipotle chicken burrito.

And even then, it's like one every couple of weeks. So I don't feel too bad about it.

you know, how is a grilled chicken burrito that bad for you? it might have a lot of calories, but the only thing really BAD is the tortilla, especially if they make it with whole grain rice. (not sure if they do or not... only been to chipotle once.)

I've had Chipotle countless times (mainly b/c its the prevalent burrito chain in NYC) and I wondering how the hell its so unhealthy for you. No freaking way its worse than some stuff at taco bell?

^^^ This is exactly how I rationalize my decision to eat at Chipotle. Although I also add guacamole, which I tell myself has the good kind of fat and calories.

At any rate, I don't think one chicken burrito every three weeks (if not longer) is going to do any harm given how I normally eat and exercise.

^ I think the way it's "unhealthy" is because of the sheer amount of food you get in the burrito. It's definitely more than "one serving." I swear by Chipotle, though. ESPECIALLY the guacamole, which I would undoubtedly inject into my veins if I could.

i mean a lot of these things listed, like the burrito, are single dish meals. of COURSE they will have more calories because you eat them as an entire meal without sides most of the time.

yes, there is the simple calories in vs calories burned equation, but you also have to take into account how your body reacts to the different types of food. a person will have a different reaction from a 300 calorie bag of chips or soft drink vs a 300 calorie grilled chicken dish.

that's what i was thinking. I was playing around with the nutrition calculator thing on Qdoba the other day and a burrito with only rice has 16 grams of fat. Adding the chicken takes it to 24 grams of fat. Adding cheese takes it to 38 grams of fat. Beans and salsa add no fat.

I think the way they cook their rice makes the burrito so bad for you.

Ha...it's $1.50 extra.

Ends up costing $9 for the burrito and a drink. In addition to the nutritional numbers, this also plays a role in why I get maybe one per month.
