im reading the book now for teh first time and now i understand a lot of random pop culture references around today

i.e. babelfish, sirius, forty two, paranoid android

the movie was decent

the books are excellent

but the original production, the radio show, is magnificent

I wasn't a big fan of the movie. Mos Def and Alan Rickman did solid jobs, though.

Never heard that one. I do remember liking the BBC TV version when I saw it back in the day.
