The Highway Patrol has set up two Chargers with numerous performance upgrades:

-Full exhaust
-Suspension
-Intake w/SCT tuner ECU

The only purpose of these two Chargers is to combat street racing and motorcylces. They are really cutting down on us ie: tickets for anything more than 5 over etc.......

I know some of us run and I know this is a very touchy subject but, I just wanted to make people aware. THEY'RE NOT PLAYING.

on a side note. I believe street racing in general is dumb but why the fuck do it at night when cops can see you and you cant see them until its too late. at least during the day you can see everything around you.

Weird. I drove down Capital on Friday (the length from 540 to 440) and it was deserted cops-wise, but there were a bunch of them on the 540 overpass because of construction or something. So I guess they came out in force on Saturday, or the racers in question were REALLY dumb.

I wasn't in any way affiliated with these people. I was just commenting on how 5-6 YEARS AGO a couple of my friends & I would be out on Capital and see these type guys (may or may not be the same). They'd be 30-40 deep most weekends, sometimes more- hanging out in random parking lots. Back then the cars I encountered almost always stayed constant. I in no way participated or pretended to. It was just something different to do- from afar we'd watch them hang around blasting their 'systems' and then they'd start talking shit to each other & about 5 would get in their cars. About 10 min later you'd see them come streaking by headed the other direction. As I said before- It was something better to do than go home when places started to close. It was like watching live reality TV of the Raleigh Ricers

I wasn't saying it to try to be 'COOL.' I just said what was on my mind at the time & that I felt might contribute to the thread.
