Now that we have a go to bottom link, can we also have a message board drop-down at the bottom of the page?

If you're in a thread, and want to return to the originating message board, what prevents the drop-down from working unless you use it to go to a different message board, and would that be an easy fix?

its pretty sad that pretty much all of the additional functionality added to TWW in the last several years has been via greasemonkey, plugins, and cross-site scripting but there's been absolutely no consideration for adding a REST API or opening the site's code up to user contributions.

why not go ahead and lock this thread and make a "reasonable greasemonkey script suggestions within" thread instead, persisting with the delusion that anything not interfering with ad impressions is going to be changed seems increasingly futile.
