BettrOffDead listed two bands that play here frequently.

I'm stoked for Earth, Rhys Chatham, Little Scream, Titus Andronicus (they play here 2-3 times a year, but still), GBV, Black Lips, Beach Fossils, Budos Band, and Japandroids.

The Churchkey party at Slim's on Friday will rule. Same for the Odessa party at Kings. Kings is once again the ace party for Saturday, as Birds of Avalon melt your fucking face off.

I suppose they're fine if that's your thing. It's just a case of majors reacting slowly and poorly to trends. They could dress this band up to look like Muse, but they've dressed them as Fleet Foxes instead. None of that changes the fact that their sound is mid last decade and their record is produced to within an inch of its life.
