How long does it take for ad view credits to show up? I purchased some on 9/28 and they have still not showed up...

The Advertise page says

I would invest some money in advertising on this site but cannot justify it since the code is all messed up. None of the regular posters would see my ads.

I also think it is crap that the google ad's are larger than the one that registered users can purchase. . . . . . . way to reward those that are supporting the site.

wow, alot of hatin' goin on from people that use the site so much. I like TWW, its not perfect but for a small amount of money I'm able to advertise to the demographic I'm going for. I've gained alot of knowledge from TWW, I'm willing to support the site.

as for the time it took to get my view credits - it was due to the fact that my paypal transaction took a few days to clear b/c is coming from my bank account. TWW staff just waits til it has cleared before crediting the views. So it was my bad.

However, they did not credit me for the # of views I paid for - so that is still being worked out.

They do indeed allow you to use flash ads, but they need to be approved first. I agree with the point that ambrosia1231 brought up - flash ads will get blocked in more cases then animated gifs. Not everyone uses ad block.

^^ more real estate would be nice.

Look man, im not trying to hate, I am all for anyone and everyone supporting this site. However, you are not reaching your demographic because a vast majority of regular users (the ones who generate the ad views) block the ads because of a flaw in the ad delivery system that makes the site load slow as shit. Combine that with the obnoxious pop-ups and ads with sound and everyone uses adblock now.

Furthermore, regular users have offered suggestions for how to fix the flaw and they have apparently been ignored. Of course, why should they put effort into fixing it when there are guys like you lining up to give them money on a bullshit ad buy anyways?
