That's hardly the only scenario. Various women report being raped while heavily intoxicated and drifting in and out of consciousness. I have no experience with the drunken hookup scene. Can sex even happen if both parties are that wasted? How does one consent under such circumstances?

i haven't said it in this thread although i know i have mentioned it on here before.

i had a roommate who fell victim to a situation such as this. The girl was into him for sure and came over to the house all the time to visit him or just say hey. she tells my roommate than she and her boyfriend had broken up and has him meet up with her that night. at some point he leans over to kiss her and it goes down and they continue to hang out. she takes him home that night and brings him to our place. both of them were in the kitchen hanging out with us and we watch her guide him back to his bedroom. they're in there for a while making commotion and then he comes out for a condom from us. they fuck. the next day she feels bad because she wasn't really broken up with her boyfriend so she explains it to him and mutual outter friends that she was drunk and he basically raped her. her close female friends knew the truth but only verbalized the party line. it truly was disgusting.
