I am trying to aviod the *.ncsu.edu domains as much as possible. I am curious as to if you can easily add the number of credit hours a course is worth. I was looking at a course and had no idea if it were 0 hours, 1 or 3.

Thanks.

hmm... we parse the course catalog to get that info. i still can't figure out their convention for the listing. for example:

3(2-3-0) F

i figure the first 3 is for the hours and the F says it is only offered fall, but what is the other stuff for? and what the hell is this:

NULL F, S, Sum

or this:

1-4 F, S, Sum

its hard to get the parser to deal with stuff I can't even make sense of myself

Is there a way to update the upcoming course information? For example, two classes on my Fall 2002 schedule have new teachers, so the ones listed on school tool are out of date.

"3(2-3-0) F"

3 Credit Hours, (2 "hours" lecture, 3 "hours" lab, 0 "hours" problem session) Fall

"NULL F, S, Sum"

Haven't seen NULL before, but have seen 0 for zero credit classes

"1-4 F, S, Sum"

Course can be worth 1-4 Credit Hours, as set up by student and faculty. (no (#-#-#) because of variablity)

I'm not 100% sure about everything, but that is consistant with my department, CHE.
