then he was one of the guys in masks in Citizens on Patrol

not saying BC was in Police Academy, but similar deal with being re-cast

i did like spiderman 3, but i think it's ridiculous to think venom won't be in this movie. raimi didn't want him in 3, so he "killed him off" (he just disintegrated? NO BODY!) after abruptly introducing him, so he can be the main villain in 4. morbius? there's no way he's serious about that. at the very least, morbius would never be the main villain.

All I remember from 3 was -- the "fingerbang" jazz-dance scene, Eric Foreman (well, whatever his name was in the movie) got taken over by the parasite-thing to become venom, then venom getting "killed" by loud noise... that's pretty much it. Oh and harry died. But I forgot how. Something in the final battle.

Spiderman 3 could have been good, but they tried to cram way too much stuff into the film. Had the film focused only on the symbiont and the black suit, with Brock getting the symbiont as the teaser for the sequel, it would have been great. Further optimizations would have been achieved had they dropped emo Peter and all of the MJ/Harry angst.

Wait, I'm confused. I thought that part 3 made it clear that the director purposely sabotaged his own Spiderman universe because he was tired of working on Spiderman movies and didn't want to get invited to do a 4th.

Where's there to go from here? They already ruined the best villain. The only acceptable step after part 3. Wait about 6 or 7 years, then reboot the series.

^^Harry dying. His butler tells him that Spiderman couldn't have killed his father because the wounds were 'self inflicted', which was determined because his wounds came from his glider. Then two scenes later Harry dies from wounds from his glider that weren't self inflicted.
