1/22/2009 10:15:24 AM
im pissedi would have owed $95 for federal and $0 for state (ga)thats damn near perfect; however, i get the $600 economic stimulus check this time around as well as a $240 lifelong education credit so i have about $750 coming to me if i would have known about both of those i would have altered my withholdings
1/22/2009 10:21:53 AM
1/22/2009 11:02:46 AM
so that credit essentially wipes out any capital you had to pull away for closing costs/fees and then some. impressive. i can't say that i'm not jealous
1/22/2009 11:13:19 AM

1/22/2009 11:14:03 AM
I wish full time students got a tax break . I think I paid around 6k in taxes last year, that I could have really used for living expenses and tuition.

1/22/2009 11:21:22 AM
For my CA taxes I paid fed:$130 and State: $3.50 you think i'll have to pay or get anything back?I only made around $3000
1/22/2009 11:25:25 AM

1/23/2009 12:49:26 PM
^Yea it's also good to double check the numbers. On one of my wife's w2, her Fed. Income withholding was $1, but her paystub said otherwise. [Edited on January 23, 2009 at 12:53 PM. Reason : ]
