V V V (okay I can't the up Arrow)

About the ammo, you have a point. I checked with Sportman's Guide and they wanted a fortune. I should have check around. I paid .42 cents per round but need to move it.

$20 per 50, and I realize it is reloaded ammo, but it came from Lancer and I have never had a problem with it.

Anyone reload 7mm REM? I have a bunch of brass (just have to find it).

Hell, if you're a good reloader and I can find enough of my brass, I might buy the dies if you don't have them.

[Edited on December 11, 2009 at 11:38 PM. Reason : those big shells have gone from "expensive" to "ludicrous"]

Zebulon Walmart has , or had as of 6 pm, ~ 50-60 boxes of Federal Champion 9mm in stock. They have some 40, and haev some 40 and 45 PDX1 SD ammo as well.

BE AWARE/WARNED, they have a guy in the sporting goods department who has a hard on for being a real pain in your and my Ass. I was TRYING to buy 9mm (6 boxes), as well as 3 boxes of 20 gauge ammo(the 5 round packs of slugs). He pulled the 'if its in the lock case, INCLUDING SHOTGUN AMMO, its a 6 box total limit' stance, in front of a sign that lists, 'Rifle or Pistol'. I had a manager called, got my ammo, as I left, he was pulling the sign down to make his own hand made one.

I have a good bit of .380 (new & reloaded). I'm not really looking to sell it/make money, but I know it can be tough to get. That being said, if someone needs some, show me evidence of current pricing and I'll consider selling at or below that price as a service

I also have a few SD rounds if you need them.

[Edited on January 29, 2010 at 2:49 PM. Reason : a quick check showed me ~$1.00-$1.50/round (non-bulk pricing). ]

I bought 4 of the Mega pack Remington UMC 250 round packs of 40 SW, and one of the Mega PAck 45 ACP boxes today at a walmart down east. PM me if anyone is interested in any of the above, I am looking to sell the 45, will sell the 40 if folks have a 'I hate Blazer Brass/FederalChampion/WWB' thing going.

I am just looking to get my money back out of it, Price will be walmart cost+tax+round up a dollar or 2 to cover some of the gas.

Wal-mart brier creek.

9mm Federal $9.47 3000 rounds.

9mm Remmington 250 pack $56 3000 rounds.

.40 S&W Federal $12 couple boxes

.40 WWB $? Few boxes

.25 Auto few boxes

.223 Federal and WWB couple cases.

From what the guy was telling me, they have been getting more and more in stock. Looks like the drought might be over, except for the 6 box limit still in effect.

The little walmart on Glenwood had Winchester Value packs in 9, 40, and 45, as well as 50 round boxes of 357 mag and 357 sig. they also had some new to me brand of 9mm ins tock, 124 gr ball ammo, ~15 a box for 50, and had 40 Federal Champion. No bulk box 22, guy said they had some and it sold out fast.

The new 9mm stuff (orange box) is RWS - 124gr FMJ 9mm, 50-round box for $16.97.

The price on the Federal .22LR 550 bulk pack recently went up $3.50 to $18.97.

50-round boxes of WWB 9mm are up to ~$13.50 if I remember correctly.

Funny how the $10 boxes of Federal 9mm sell out like hotcakes, while the orange RWS boxes for $17 are all still sitting on the shelves...

The RWS is high quality stuff made by Dynamit Noble (also sold as Geco). That's why it costs so much...but it shouldn't cost that much. You can find the same stuff sold as Geco for $14/box.

Take note on the RWS; those 9mm 124gr FMJ are bimetal bullets. They are copper plated mild steel jackets. Many say the steel never touches the barrel, but I have a hard time believing that because the lands are high and sharp on some guns and those guns will wear through the copper plating on normal cheap copper plated (not bimetal) bullets.
My guess is you can shoot quite a few hundred rounds without any adverse effect on your barrel, but I think a few thousands of rounds wouldn't be good if you're trying to maintain good accuracy.

[Edited on March 17, 2010 at 11:32 PM. Reason : Maybe the RWS will sit there long enough to go on sale. I'd buy out all the walmarts.]
