Founder of clothing firm killed in Ferrari crash

Quote :
"NEWPORT BEACH — A larger-than-life character who called himself “Mask” and who helped create a mixed-martial-arts empire from the back of a van died early Wednesday when the Ferrari he was driving crashed into a light pole.

Charles Lewis Jr., 45, of Huntington Beach, the co-founder of a $100 million company called TapouT, was declared dead at the scene. The impact ripped the car in half and sent his passenger, an unidentified woman, to the hospital.

Police arrested the driver of another car, a white 1977 Porsche, on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. An on-duty officer reported seeing that driver, Jeffrey David Kirby, 51, of Costa Mesa, flee the scene after his Porsche was involved in the crash.

Kirby has a history of driving violations, including a 2002 conviction for driving under the influence, court and Department of Motor Vehicle records show. He was being held in lieu of $2 million bail.

You never see Ferraris in fender benders.

They're always either on fire or ripped in half.

i made a thread awhile back asking when that goddamn TapouT phase would end. Looks like i got my answer. I hate seeing over roided gel-heads and hotdog-necked skinheads who wear that shit. oh well.

he didn't drink or do drugs at all.

I never realized he was as old as he was (45)

sucks though, he made me lol on the show.

wow youre a week late

i dont wear fight gear and promotion sponsored clothing, and i think that the people that drive around with the stickers and act tough are tools

but the purchase of the gear supports the fighters, which i liike

^and i have no problem with this. i like to wear alpinestar shit, not a lot but i like it, the point im trying to get across is that EVERY person i see wearing one of the two companies i.e. tapout or affliction, is a fuck douche they A, buy the shirt that doesnt fith them to make them look even fucking dumber
B, walk around with their arms all out like they are tuff, but you can look at them and tell they have never worked out a day in their life, and then they shave a fro-hawk in their head and just walk around like they own everyfuckingthing in the world. i just dont see the coolness in looking like a fucking tool.

i'm pretty sure they'd look like that regardless of the brand of shirt they wear.
