bro-in-law: loving the ACOG scope, didn't think I'd like it as much as iron sights.

BobbyDigital: depends on the weapon. I prefer the iron sight on the SCAR-H, but I always roll with the ACOG with the M16A4 or ACR.

bro-in-law: You crack me up bobby... But I'm talking about the M16A4, amazingly accurate scope though. Only gripe I have is that it occasionally smacks me in the face from recoil while I'm shooting from the standing, wearing safety glasses tomorrow.


Yeah that that point i realized he was talking about the real weapon, he's an active duty marine (and also the biggest gaming nerd i've ever known).

Question for the regular players:
I'm getting this game tonight. I have never played a FPS on a console and I played the shit out of BF1942 and BF2. Should I expect to get worked as soon as I join? Tips / pointers? Good websites to read on the game?

Yes you will get worked. Just use google for tips, but experience is the only thing that helps. And why are you getting the game now when the new version comes out shortly?

Yes, you will get worked a lot at first but the learning curve really isnt that steep. Once you learn the maps and get more familiar with the game, you should be fine.

For a beginner:

UMP45 or any assault rifle basically.

Sleight of Hand on assault rifle, Stopping Power, Commando

Marathon on UMP, Lightweight or Stopping Power, whatever on 3rd perk

Spas secondary.

those classes alone should help some.
