I'm looking for a new provider. We were with Waste Industries. I know there's also Republic, and possibly Waste Management (waiting to hear back from them to see if they serve our area).
Anyone know of any others to contact? Google mostly pulls up municipal services, one-time junk removal services, and these that I already know of. I know there's at least one more, because a couple neighbors have them, but I can't remember the name, and I forget what day their cans go out 5/26/2009 9:02:33 AM |

Looked into those. Thanks. (advantage doesn't service us, and I'm not gonna be able to call BB right away) 5/26/2009 11:48:16 AM |

typically a company will have an area they service and you're for the most part stuck with that company - it's whoever your neighbors have - a company isn't going to go out of their way to pick up just your trash.... 5/26/2009 10:56:02 PM |

^it actually depends on the service area. waste mgt. and shaw san. serve my area. i think only one house uses w.m. in my subdivision and everyone else use shaw. however, there are a few houses along the main road that use w.m. so i guess it's worth it to them. 5/27/2009 9:46:10 PM |

Should anyone use this thread for a starting point in the future: stay away from Republic. Also, ABC does not offer recycling pick-up.
PSI, I had thought shaw doesn't service our neighborhood, and then when I went out a different way one day, I saw a shaw can, so I'm giving them a call.
