Anyone up here interested in 9 or 18 holes on Saturday?

Last time I booked a tee time for 1, I got paired with these awful ladies who gossiped more than anything else, and they held the whole damn course up.

Cool, EMCE and I just played earlier today. I was awful, he wasn't so bad. It was definitely a good time.

I usually just play at East Patomac Park right by the mall. It's pretty cool to be able to see monuments and the Capitol during your round

I worked in Bldg 197 for a bit a few years back. Pretty sure panthersny still does. The security there was never impressive. It's a military facility, but think of it more like the Navy's corporate offices.

My roommate and friend worked on the floor where the shooter began his rampage. Thankfully, he happened to take PTO that day, but this one does rattle the nerves a bit.

First funeral Saturday...small church so waiting on word from close family if enough room...sigh to situation....

......I think our entire area will have to be overhauled......I don't know how I will feel walking back into Mikes office....but I need to just do it and say a prayer or twenty

Went to the funeral for Mike Arnold today.....first time I had seenso many coworkers at one time...gave lots of hugs, talked with CAPT Mercer a while....it was good to see folks but so sad for all and especially for Mike's family.


Monday is my first day back to work....they are looking at months before we go back or longer.....

The 3rd and 4th floor areso bad they are talking a complete gut outand redo....possibly redoing the whole building. Wye. The police went to clear all the spaces they had to breach all the secure spaces, destroying all the doors, walls and spraypainted everywhere to document cleared areas.....nuts

Nationally televised memorial service will be at 6 pm Tomm......I cant get myself to go....

I was told that if the govt has a shutdown, that we'd still be in operation since they've got leftover funds from something for FY13

sucks though because even if we work, and the shutdown lasts past a couple weeks, we wouldnt get paid since USDA controls the financial stuff

yeah, I am up for lease renewal, I should get my GS-12 promotion in July, so I can start hoteling full-time and move back to Raleigh woop woop
