My little brother needs some kind of bike to ride around, like an old mountain bike or something. It ain't gotta be pretty. I'd prefer tires and brakes in good condition, though. You know you've got some old 10-speed taking up space in your apartment, you all lyin' to yourself about how you're gonna start riding again once it cools down. Stop frontin' and sell me that piece, kid.

you physically wrote out 'you all'. But then felt like putting an apostrophe, instead of the letter g, at the ends of words. The inconsistency approaches amsterdam### levels.

"You all lyin' to yourself" is not "y'all lyin' to yourself." Note "yourself," which is singular, you fucking Hershey squirt.

I am not breaking out triple figures for a secondhand bike for my kid brother.

The surplus sale is an interesting suggestion, though unreliable and inconvenient. I'll keep it in mind. I've also got my eye on Craigslist, naturally, because I'm no n00b.

Here is the thought process for this thread:

1. The Wolf Web has some dudes who buy bikes and don't ride them.
2. These dudes too lazy to ride their bikes are probably dudes too lazy to actively sell 'em, too.
3. These dudes would gladly part with their neglected steeds for cash money, which they will no doubt spend on drugs.

I am keenly interested in that heavy-ass Wal-Mart bike you bought when you moved into your first apartment and no longer ride because you hate carrying it up and down the stairs; the bike you think has no resale value because you only spent $80 on it to start with; the bike you never even bought a fuckin' lock for. That's the bike I want.

You didn't even post a general idea of the size you need.

It's a cheap bike, man. I am clearly soliciting bikes owned by college kids and up, 18+, adult sizes and shit. Come on, now. I'm like your mom, son--I ain't gotta worry about inches.

I'm 5'5" and my brother is 6'3"

Guess I better go tell him he CAN ride my bikes because we are both adults, even though his knees hit the handlebars on my bike.

That's a last-ditch effort. We are trying to keep it close to cash neutral, if you follow me.

I have a bike or two I'm not using, but I'm not gonna let you douches waste my time unless there is a high likelyhood you will buy the damn thing.
