yes it does. in my case, it was wolff-parkinson-white, which decided to rear its head in the middle of the night. thousands of dollars later, and a couple of trips to a specialist in greenville, i'm better. but contemplating death at 20 years old is a sobering experience.

i hate cancer too. though i didn't have it (or don't yet or at least i don't think i do). but it killed my mom. actually i'm pretty sure the high-dose chemo ultimately killed my mom cause her white blood cells never grew back and then she got all these infections and with no immune system - it did not end well.

it sucks. chemo is the cure for one thing but it can cause a lot of damage itself. even other types of cancer.

i had to go to the cardiologist when i was 19, i started having spells of tachycardia while i was in school and ultimately ended up having to drop out because i was missing so many classes from passing out all the time. i collapsed in the gym while playing basketball one time, that was pretty scary. it was a big shock because i was very active in sports while in high school and all the sudden i could barely even walk at times without getting dizzy.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I found out this year from doctors that I will have similar complications if I ever have to undergo any chemo. After Silas was born without a functioning immune system, I was tested. I don't make new cells, just copy the few old ones that I have. If chemo ever kills off what I do have, I don't have the ability to make new ones.

i didnt realize how bad cancer was til my job with kernodle clinic in 2004. asked a doctor whats the one thing they hate telling a patient and they said cancer cause its usually a death sentence. i figured they cured most of that shit with drugs and kemo now a days
