slacker always ends up pissing me off. pandora does too, but they both just start pissing me off. pandora one would end up making me less pissed off at everything except for having spent the money for pandora one. problem with slacker is that my phone doesn't support it

It seriously owns. Not to mention if you have a smartphone with a data package you can stream it, and with a microSD card in it, Slacker will cache content so that it is not constantly hitting the network, which is great if you go somewhere that doesn't have a good cell signal. Plus the Slacker playlist has about 4-5x as many songs as Pandora's music genome shit.

^What have you got a WinMo phone? Thats the biggest thing they need to fix, and according to Rome on their Slacker Support forums, they are targetting Q1 2010 for that release. It is pretty damn ridiculous that they have an app out for Android, BB, and iPhone, but not shit for WinMo.

^Yea, just make a station picking a particular artist and then start rating shit that it plays. Add artists you like and you can tweak the hell outta it. Thats the cool shit about Slacker. Sometimes it take a little work to get it right where you want it, but thats what I love and why I am tired of my XM sub.

Yea if you just pick one band, it will roll like Pandora does, picking shit from where you started. Then you heart or ban. And the ban can be artist or song specific. If you really want to get detailed, you can pick individual artists or even individual songs by artists.

I also love that if you select an artist it will sort the songs by the most popular. Really interesting to see what other users are listening to from certain artists.
