The Longest Week is great if you like dramas that are shot kind of like Grand Budapest Hotel, etc.

I have been recently entertained by An Idiot Abroad. It's helps that I like to travel and have been to several places the show goes.

^^^

I love that movie, but I never understood what the hell the title has to do with the movie. I associate swingers with wife/husband swapping and orgies and shit like that.

One of the funniest shows I've ever watched. The enigma that is Karl Pilkington just never gets old. I would listen to his commentary on anything.

Just finished Sons of Anarchy.

Very solid show, probably my second favorite FX production behind Justified.

Kind of went out with a whimper though.

Beware of Mr. Baker

(BBC documentary on the crazy ass drummer of Cream and many other bands)

I didn't know much about him beforehand, but holy shit this guy is fucking insane.

the entire thing is also on youtube:

yeah dude, I mean, I knew of Ginger Baker; I could have told you that he was the drummer for Cream since I was about 16. I think I'd even heard that he was sort of a cock and had struggled with heroin addiction.

...but I had no idea whatsoever of how far off his rocker this cat is! Oh my God, he is totally bat-shit. I can't even think of anyone I've ever seen interviewed who's crazier, other than Charles Manson. Mike Tyson and Charlie Sheen, at the respective worsts, would be maybe crazier, but I'm not sure that even Mike Tyson was as much of a total rotten bastard to the core, hahaha.

That movie is just super interesting all-around.

^i thought that was alright, but I was a little disappointed, I wish it had focused more on the movies themselves, like he did in his 70s b-movie documentary, less on the overall company.

Making a Murderer is decent. About this inbred dude who beat a rape rap in the 80s but was finally brought to justice for a separate murder by brave local law enforcement and a witty district attorney.

I recommend giving "Mad Dogs" on Amazon Prime a chance. 10 episode series with Michael Imperioli, Steve Zahn, and the black guy from Weeds. Really good so far.

Beasts of No Nation.

Electric Boogaloo was alright, didn't know much about the Cannon group before that.

Rubble Kings was pretty interesting, it kind of shows the real life Warriors (which is also on Netflix). New York Street Gangs, mostly blacks and puerto ricans, used to dress in denim jackets with their gang logo on it, like motorcycle gangs.
