that being said, i'm on the sharpshooting challenge where you have to shoot the hats off two gentlemen. i guess the easiest way would be to shoot them off someone on a horse while on the ground.

For the hat shooting, just go into deadeye and aim just above their head. If you get a mark then you aimed too low and will shoot their head off.

^^ I did that last night. Just go to dead eye and pull the trigger instead of marking it.

It's really easy on missions where you're shooting at guys behind cover. Just run up to them and blast their hat off when they pop up. Then, you know, murder them.

Perhaps the ducks walk around or float in pools of water rather than flying... if that's the case, the game itself might classify them differently.

Or for the sake of making lists n forums, it would only be worth putting flying things under "Birds"

I've found a literal Cougar Den in the farthest NW part of the map just off the road between Raths Fork and Gaptooth. Those fuckers were everywhere, killed my Kentucky Saddler, I dead eyed like 4 of them with my winchester and brought the house down on them. skinned each one too. bastards.



also, has anyone had any issues where their target-assist has seemingly stopped working? I finished the mission for West Dickens last night where you have to shoot the posse leaving Plainview and after taking care of all of them and returning to the regular game i couldn't target anything. No coyotes, dillos, birds, or even people. WTF

the storyline of this game is kinda like a bell curve of action and adventure...you start off slow, herding cattle and shit...then you get into the meat of the game and you're shooting up camps of 30-40 outlaws...then things back down again

I am worse at Liar's Dice than I think I should be... it doesn't seem very complicated I just get into situations where I can't win. BUT I managed to eek our a victory over the guy for the movie quest who had some land deed I needed.

Working on the challenges as much as I can for now, have yet to visit Mexico but I think I'm only a quest or two away.

What an amazing game. Shooting victims by accident is too funny.
