if it's at the curb, it's considered trash. it's no different than grabbing a couch, old tv, or old desk that someone has put at the curb.

Quote :
"Stanley Stupid (Tom Arnold) is convinced that someone is stealing his trash, given that every few days it disappears. After several attempts, he discovers and follows a garbage truck to the local dump on rollerblades (he figures because it has more wheels than a car or a bike it is faster). His children, Buster (Bug Hall) and Petunia (Alex McKenna), upon waking up and not finding their father, decide to go to the police for help, only after leaving a note for their mother saying where they're going. However, they only write down the words "Police Kidnapped Your Children" Later, Stanley's wife and the children's mother, Joan (Jessica Lundy), wake up to find the note followed by a phone call from the police saying, "We have your children" causing Joan to set out to find and rescue her children."

Go ahead and steal all the garbage in Raleigh for 1 hour and see how much they worry about going out of business.

considering the fact that most garbage companies are on government contracts, no

the way i see it, if i put something at the curb then I could care less who the fuck takes it, as long as it gets gone

California v Greenwood agrees that Christmas trees left on the curb are fair game.

You can't take it if it's not in the right of way though. Unless you do have a contract to remove it from the property.

^^^^ Glad to see that you're capable of caring less about who takes it. Me, personally, I could not care less about who takes my curb crap.

i think a bed out of christmas trees, although they would smell good, would probably be a fire hazard.

that'll do as well, although i recommend going to cargo facilities and asking them for old pallets instead. they burn much longer and hotter

Well, that's not a very ecological thing to do...

They recycle old pallets too, but nobody cares if you take them off their hands. Check warehouses for old and broken pallets. Just call up someone at a warehouse and ask them.

i'll buy a carbon credit to offset it.

i mean even if it was used in compost or whathave you, it will eventually decompose and release that CO2, just a little bit slower.

^^^What about mountains. They grow (over thousands of years). Can you burn a mountain?

^ But you aren't burning. It was said, "if it grows, you can burn it." Not, "if it grows, it can burn."
