12/21/2009 7:27:17 PM

wouldn't be stealing from t he city or anything? don't the city take the trees and use them for mulch and stuff?
12/21/2009 7:29:26 PM
if it's at the curb, it's considered trash. it's no different than grabbing a couch, old tv, or old desk that someone has put at the curb.
12/21/2009 7:29:37 PM
you mean you can do that???
12/21/2009 7:30:58 PM
hell yeah, that's the whole point of putting shit at the curb. so someone will take it
12/21/2009 7:31:31 PM
*facepalm*
12/21/2009 7:31:40 PM
hahahah
12/21/2009 7:31:50 PM
12/21/2009 7:33:09 PM
i mean i knew people did it... i didn't know it was legal. what's to stop people from picking up everything from the curb? wouldn't the trash companys go out of business?
12/21/2009 7:35:03 PM
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhalalalal
12/21/2009 7:35:36 PM
Go ahead and steal all the garbage in Raleigh for 1 hour and see how much they worry about going out of business.
12/21/2009 7:36:04 PM
considering the fact that most garbage companies are on government contracts, nothe way i see it, if i put something at the curb then I could care less who the fuck takes it, as long as it gets gone
12/21/2009 7:36:10 PM
California v Greenwood agrees that Christmas trees left on the curb are fair game.]
12/21/2009 7:37:08 PM
SHIT GOT REAL!
12/21/2009 7:37:26 PM
You can't take it if it's not in the right of way though. Unless you do have a contract to remove it from the property.
12/21/2009 7:38:02 PM
^^^^ Glad to see that you're capable of caring less about who takes it. Me, personally, I could not care less about who takes my curb crap.[Edited on December 21, 2009 at 7:41 PM. Reason : ^]

^^see thats the type of answer i'm looking for. maybe i should have asked in thelounge.[Edited on December 21, 2009 at 7:41 PM. Reason : ]
12/21/2009 7:41:07 PM
You are trying to make Bass beds, aren't you?if so, I have several trees you can have
12/21/2009 7:41:32 PM
i think a bed out of christmas trees, although they would smell good, would probably be a fire hazard.
12/21/2009 7:42:26 PM
yeah ask in the loungeIts a whole different ball game over there
12/21/2009 7:42:42 PM
nah, i meant sinking old christmas trees in ponds/lakes for bass to bed onbass love old Christmas trees, and it is a very eco-friendly thing to do
12/21/2009 7:43:46 PM
ha! ok... nah i was going to make a bon fire with them.
12/21/2009 7:44:22 PM
that'll do as well, although i recommend going to cargo facilities and asking them for old pallets instead. they burn much longer and hotter
12/21/2009 7:45:27 PM
Well, that's not a very ecological thing to do...They recycle old pallets too, but nobody cares if you take them off their hands. Check warehouses for old and broken pallets. Just call up someone at a warehouse and ask them.
12/21/2009 7:48:49 PM
i'll buy a carbon credit to offset it.i mean even if it was used in compost or whathave you, it will eventually decompose and release that CO2, just a little bit slower.
12/21/2009 7:50:15 PM
if it grows, you can burn itthat's the golden rule
12/21/2009 7:52:13 PM
12/21/2009 7:55:59 PM
i just found out it's illegal to burn cardboard. we burn our old beer boxes and other cardboard every weekend
12/21/2009 7:57:24 PM
^^^What about mountains. They grow (over thousands of years). Can you burn a mountain? [Edited on December 21, 2009 at 7:59 PM. Reason : ^]
12/21/2009 7:59:03 PM
duh
12/21/2009 8:00:01 PM
^ But you aren't burning. It was said, "if it grows, you can burn it." Not, "if it grows, it can burn."
12/21/2009 8:03:00 PM
huh? sementics
