Watched the whole thing on Geekologie a month ago.

Better than the actual movie.

part 1 produced a chuckle from me, but it's not THAT great...in fact, he gets on my nerves constantly saying "you're making a movie for children!"...the truth is that it is NOT made for children, it's made for those that were children when star wars was NEW...he knows this, but he's retarded about it, anyway

yeah, we get it...star wars nuts and movie snobs hated the movie

i, for one, don't care one way or another...i saw it in the theater and i don't feel like my time was wasted...but i didn't go out and see it a second time, either

*shrug*

Of course it's for children, it's a space western about a pair of swordfighters, a small boy, and a giant space rabbit.

^^ I'm pretty sure that the review includes a video of George Lucas saying that it's a movie for children at some point.

I don't really give a rat's ass about Star Wars, but this review is pretty funny and well produced so far.

b. watch this before watching I-III?
c. watch this and never watch I-III?
d. watch I-III and never watch this?

Every time he cuts to a boring and confusing discussion on taxes or politics being watched by little kids I crack up.

Wow, so I not only watched all seven parts of that but also the ones for all four TNG movies (each with 4 parts). He is spot on and hilarious. It's given me this weird craving for pizza rolls though.

good point about the characters

frikkin R2-D2 has more personality in A New Hope than all the main characters combined in Phantom Menace. And R2 was a robot with no lines and no face.

The part where he asks 4 people to describe characters without talking about their looks or professions is genius.

ya know, he pretends to do the dumb voice....which i find funny....but his insight and critiques of both movies are spot on. I especially liked the Avatar one, yeah it wasnt as funny but damn it was accurate

The Avatar review was not as funny but pretty spot on as a review.

The Episode 1 review was hilarious, there is a teaser trailer for his Attack of Clones review.

i liked the avatar review even more

Quote :
"Let me let you in on a little secret. Savage races without technology and money can be just as fucking brutal as we can. Plus, they don't have things like antibiotics, indoor plumbing, and taco bell."

haha spot on

i liked avatar but like he said, it may be in 3d but the characters are stuck in 1d

do you consider the na'vi a savage race?
and just cause a "primitive" race can be brutal does it mean they have to be?

this review was way off, most of his references didnt make sense, and his conclusions were lackluster or just plain wrong, & unfunny
