GLaDOS is still alive (duh!) and ready to put poor Chell through more tests. It will be significantly longer than the first one, there will be a couple of new mechanics, and there will be a co-op campaign where you and a friend can play as a pair of robots that are each equipped with a portal gun. They're also bringing back the guy who did the end song, and there will be all new comedy-gold dialog and quips.

Bring on the awesome.

I'm just hoping that they have a good Portal/Portal 2 bundle on Steam. I only ever played Portal on the PS3 and I want to play through on the PC.

^Nice. I'm glad that they got Stephen Merchant to do the voice of the AI, he's a funny guy. For those of you that are unfamiliar with him, he is Ricky Gervais' partner in crime. He is one of the creators of The Office (both US and UK versions) and Extras.

I'm probably more excited about this than I am about HL ep 3. And I've got blue balls all over the place about episode 3. Seriously, I may come just talking about it.

But Portal is the only single player game I've ever played where having an audience/committee helped make it fun. I remember there being about eight people in the room and we debated everything and still had a great time. I can only imagine that splitscreen will improve it.
